Cranks and Handles

I got pretty fast at cranking the windows up or down but I remember scraping my knuckle sometimes.
 Isn't it interesting that we still use the universal hand motion of cranking the window when you want someone to roll the window down? Watch this Ellen clip starting at 1:15. Funny!
