If I Could....

If I Could, a song performed by Jack Wild for the movie, Pufnstuf.

This song takes me back to my youth like none other.  It reminds me of those innocent, fun filled days where adventures were found in my own back yard.

Jack also starred in Pufnstuf the tv series, Oliver!, and lesser known roles.  Like many child stars, Wild struggled to make the transition to adult stardom. He had begun to drink and smoke regularly at the age of 12, and by 1973, at age 21, he was already a registered alcoholic and diabetic. This did not help him find acting gigs, and by 1976 his film career was over.  Jack  died on March 1, 2006 at age 53.
